Buyukcekmece Sinan Park

The area on the shores of Büyükçekmece Lake is an abandoned area. The area is connected to the Büyükçekmece Culture Park by Mimar Sinan Bridge, one of the most important works of Mimar Sinan. The park will be the most lively center of the area with this bridge and Cultivation park on the other shore of the lake. Different kinds of landscapes are brought together by an open area grid strategy. Single-story educational venues have been designed at certain points of this grid. The natural landscape on the shore is preserved, and only pedestrian walking paths are designed on the shore. The main motivation of the project is to provide a landscape restoration.
