Özer/Ürger Architecture is an interdisciplinary design practice that places architectural programming and urban density at the core of its work. Operating seamlessly across architectural and urban design scales, the studio produces with a conscious, research-oriented approach that navigates between disciplines.
Embracing the fluid boundaries between scales, our methodology positions cross-scale interaction as a primary driver of design. Decisions made at the architectural scale influence the urban realm, while urban configurations shape the spatial organization of buildings. This holistic perspective enables us to address complex programs and to view density not only as a design parameter but also as a potential to be cultivated.
Our overarching ambition is to create environments where individuals and communities can thrive—spaces that are more engaging, more comfortable, greener, and ultimately more livable. In every project, we focus on strategies that enhance spatial quality, social sustainability, urban ecology, public life, and user experience.
This approach transforms Özer/Ürger Architecture from a conventional architectural office into a multi-layered, research-focused design studio actively participating in the transformation of cities.
Özer/Ürger Architecture’s design philosophy and methodology have been recognized with numerous prestigious awards, and the studio’s work has been featured in a wide range of national and international publications. Since 2018, the firm has been officially certified as a “Design Center” by the Republic of Turkey Ministry of Industry and Technology, continuing its practice as an accredited, innovation-driven design studio.
