METU TECHNOCITY Urban Design Competition

Metu Technocity Campus is generated by the unique landscape of Metu Campus, and carefully decided and well designed buildings. Buildings of the Technocity exhibit high quality spatial experiences and strong plastic views. However the problem today is the lack of a total spatial quality, proposed together by all these qualified buildings and landscape. Project, being an infill, deals with the disconnection, rupture, fragmentation, being leftover and loss of function issues with all aspects and propose intervention strategies. The common denominator of these strategies are sustainability, re-use (artificial hill and reed bed) and re-link.
