Biotechnology Research and Development Center

The new Biotechnology laboratory was built in the campus of the Ministry of Agriculture, located in Yenimahalle, Ankara. The building includes the labs, where scientific studies will be carried out in the field of agriculture, and the meeting places where important meetings of the entire campus will be held. With its transparent façade, the project opens to a wide landscape in front, where it produces a more closed window composition to escape the noise of the road at the rear. The solid wall in the back is twisted, forming an envelope that forms the image of building. Thanks to this strategy, even the vertical circulation shafts in the attic become part of the sculptural composition.
